Charlotte Jackson Fine Art Brings Three Artist Friends Together in Santa Fe

Charlotte Jackson Fine Art, located in Santa Fe's Railyard Arts District, will host a group exhibition titled Still Friends After All These Years from September 11 to October 10, 2026. The show brings together three longtime friends: Charles Arnoldi, Ron Cooper, and Laddie John Dill. Their decades-spanning camaraderie forms the throughline of this presentation, which features works in varied formats and techniques.

The exhibition includes pieces that explore color and materiality: deep gouache reds, radiant blue glows from glass tubes, and shimmering golds of pearlescent pigment on Plexiglas. Each artist brings a distinct approach, yet their works share an ability to sink into the viewer's body, shifting perceptions and raising questions one hadn't realized needed asking. An opening reception with the artists will be held on Friday, September 11, from 5 to 7 p.m.

On Saturday, September 12, from 2 to 4 p.m., the gallery will present a talk with Charles Arnoldi, Ron Cooper, Laddie John Dill, and Rani Singh. The event will offer insight into the artists' respective paths and how their practices intersect. Arnoldi and Dill are associated with the California art scene, while Cooper, also known for his work with light, has developed an oeuvre at the intersection of minimalism and materiality.

Founded in 1985 and based in Santa Fe, Charlotte Jackson Fine Art specializes in contemporary art, particularly abstraction and color-driven investigations. The gallery has represented these three artists for years, and their careers span more than five decades. Still Friends After All These Years celebrates both the endurance of their bonds and the vitality of their artistic inquiries, in a venue that places light and material at the center of its program.
