Jeju Biennale Names Full Artist List for 2026 Edition

The Jeju Museum of Art has confirmed sixty-nine artists and collectives for the fifth edition, running August 25 to November 15, 2026.

The Jeju Museum of Art has released the final roster for the 2026 Jeju Biennale, naming sixty-nine participating artists and collectives in a press statement.

The fifth edition of the biennial opens on August 25 and closes on November 15, 2026. It carries the title "Iyahong: The Art of Metamorphosis," signalling a curatorial framework built around transformation.

Established to give the South Korean island a platform for contemporary art with international reach, the Jeju Biennale operates within a crowded Asian calendar that includes Gwangju, Busan and Seoul. A selection approaching seventy names places the 2026 edition among the broader, more inclusive biennials, attentive to a wide range of practices and regions.

Further details on the exhibition venues, programming and display strategy have yet to be announced by the organising institution.
