École de Condé

Presentation

L'École de Condé is a private higher education institution specialising in creative professions, present on several campuses in France (Paris, Lyon, Nancy, Bordeaux, Nice, Marseille…). The Parisian campus is the largest and offers most of the network's programmes.

Disciplines

The training covers a broad spectrum of design and applied arts:

  • Graphic design and visual communication, artistic direction, motion and digital design;
  • Illustration, comics, concept art, animation and video games;
  • Space and interior design, product design;
  • Photography;
  • Fashion, textile and accessories design, jewellery and craft trades;
  • Heritage conservation-restoration, a rarer field in the landscape of private schools and one of the institution's signature programmes.

Pedagogy

The curriculum is generally organised around a preparatory year or direct entry depending on the profile, followed by a bachelor-type track and then a master's. Teaching is based on studio work, projects, workshops and internships, with instructors drawn from the professional world.

What to know before applying

This is a private school: tuition fees are borne by students, and it is important to check, for each programme and each campus, the exact level of degree recognition (visa d'État, titre RNCP, grade) as well as the possibility of work-study (alternance). Admission is based on application file, portfolio and interview.
