Etablissement d'enseignement supérieur technique privé RUBIKA de VALENCIENNES

RUBIKA is a private institution of higher education located in Anzin, in the Valenciennes metropolitan area. It was born from the merger of three historic schools of the region: Supinfocom (animation and computer-generated imagery), Supinfogame (video games) and l'ISD (industrial design and transportation design). The school was created at the initiative of local economic actors, in a region that has become a recognized hub for image and digital technology.

Disciplines. Three main tracks structure the offering: animation / VFX, game design and game art, and product and mobility design. The programs lead to bac+5 level diplomas, with a year or semester of specialization and a team-based final project, often close to actual professional production conditions.

Strengths. Teaching is very career-oriented: professional software, studio workflow, industry professionals as instructors, partnerships with companies in animation, video games and design. RUBIKA also has international campuses, notably in India and Canada, along with exchange opportunities.

Admission is based on application review, tests and interview; a strong portfolio and solid foundations in drawing or 3D modeling are expected depending on the track. Tuition fees should be verified directly with the school.
