Overview
L'École de design Nantes Atlantique is a private higher education institution dedicated to design, founded in the late 1980s and affiliated with the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de Nantes–Saint-Nazaire. Its main campus is located on the île de Nantes, in a district marked by creative industries, close to the metropolitan area's cultural and economic players.
Programs and disciplines
The school offers a complete curriculum, from undergraduate level (including DN MADE degrees in the space, object, fashion, graphic design, and digital tracks, depending on the year) up to the master's cycle. The main fields covered are space and interior architecture design, product and object design, graphic and interactive design, digital design, as well as fashion and textile design.
A distinctive feature of the institution is the organization of the master's cycle into thematic applied research studios (health and care, food, city and mobility, social innovation, digital realities, among others), which combine forward-looking projects with partnerships with companies and local authorities.
