Lycée Godefroy De Bouillon

Lycée Godefroy de Bouillon, located in Clermont-Ferrand, is a private school under contract that, beyond its general and technological high school tracks, offers higher education training in applied arts.

Its post-baccalaureate offering is built around the DN MADE (Diplôme national des métiers d'art et du design), Événement track. This bachelor's-level diploma takes place over three years and is part of the national framework for design programs: a first year of discovery and acquisition of fundamentals, followed by progressive deepening toward a personal end-of-program project.

The Événement track addresses the design of temporary spaces and setups: scenography, stands and exhibitions, signage and visual identity applied to space, staging of products or brands, cultural mediation. Teaching combines studio practice (drawing, mock-ups, volume, digital representation tools), design and arts culture, and project technology and methodology. Workshops, projects linked to clients, and internship periods are an integral part of the program.

Upon completion of the DN MADE, students can enter professional life (design agencies, scenography, communication, cultural institutions) or continue on to a DSAA, a higher school of art and design, or a master's degree.

Admission is through Parcoursup, based on an application file generally including a portfolio of personal works. A STD2A technological baccalaureate or a preparatory year in applied arts is a common form of preparation, though not exclusive.
