Lycée Jean-Pierre Vernant

Lycée Jean-Pierre Vernant is a public educational institution located in Sèvres, in the Hauts-de-Seine. Alongside its general and technological programs, it hosts a higher education center in applied arts that prepares students for the DN MADE (Diplôme national des métiers d'art et du design), a bachelor's-level degree completed over three years.

Two tracks are offered there: Graphisme and Matériaux. The first covers visual communication, graphic identity, typography, publishing and digital media; the second is based on experimentation with materials, ceramics and volumes, with significant emphasis on studio work and prototyping.

The location in Sèvres, a town historically associated with ceramics and porcelain, provides a favorable context for the Matériaux track, in a Paris-region area dense with cultural institutions and agencies.

As with all DN MADE programs, the training combines project practice courses, theoretical teaching (art and design history, humanities), modern languages and internship periods. It enables professional integration or further studies at the master's level, at a higher art school, or in a DSAA.

Admission is through Parcoursup, based on application file and personal work.
