Lycée Le Corbusier is a public school located in Illkirch-Graffenstaden, in the Strasbourg metropolitan area. As a comprehensive lycée, it combines general and technological tracks with a higher education division, making it one of the main centers for training in applied arts and design in Alsace.

Programs and strengths

The institution offers several tracks of the DN MADE (Diplôme National des Métiers d'Art et du Design), a three-year, bachelor's-level diploma: notably Espace, Graphisme, and Innovation sociale. These programs combine project-based culture, studio practice, technical instruction, and professional preparation (internships, workshops, partnerships with commissioning clients).

The Espace track leads toward interior architecture, scenography, and environmental design; the Graphisme track toward visual identity, publishing, and digital design; the Innovation sociale track approaches design as a tool for transforming usages, services, and territories — an orientation still relatively rare in France.

The lycée has dedicated workshops (model-making, volume, imaging, computing), and its location within a university and technology hub in the Grand Est region facilitates local collaborations.

Admission

Applications for the DN MADE programs are submitted via Parcoursup, with review of academic records, a motivation letter, and, depending on the track, a personal project or portfolio. Applicants come from STD2A backgrounds, general baccalauréat tracks, technological baccalauréat tracks, or a preparatory year in applied arts.
