The lycée Léonard de Vinci, in Antibes, is a public institution of general and technological education that also hosts higher education programs in design and craft trades. It is one of the lycées in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region authorized to award the DN MADE (Diplôme national des métiers d'art et du design), a three-year degree-level diploma.

Programs and specializations

According to Parcoursup information, the school offers three specializations of the DN MADE:

• Matériaux: exploration of materials, production processes, and technical know-how applied to the design project.
• Espace: design of interior spaces, scenography, layouts, and inhabited settings.
• Objet: product design, from volume to use, with work on form, function, and manufacturing.

These programs combine practical workshop instruction (drawing, volume, model-making, digital tools) with theoretical teaching (culture of the arts, design and techniques, foreign language, applied sciences). The pedagogy is based on the project approach and on professional situational learning, including internship periods.
