A sensitive dialogue is established between the linocuts of Olesya Dzhurayeva, the painting in which the image becomes matter in the work of Jack Dufour, and the modelled figures of Emmanuel Alloy, which convey the fragility of living beings. Emmanuel Alloy Emmanuel Alloy grew up in an artistic world, alongside a sculptor mother. First a painter, he gradually turned to sculpture, developing a self-taught practice nourished by literature and cinema. His work is now presented in numerous salons and exhibitions in France. In 2025, he was awarded the Eddy Rugale Michaïlov painting prize from the Fondation Taylor. Modelled in clay then cast in bronze, Emmanuel Alloy's sculpture explores the human figure in all its fragility. Bodies in tension, fragmented faces and silent presences question memory, absence and the permanence of the living. Modelling, essential to his approach, brings forth powerful forms in which the material retains the trace of the gesture. Olesya Dzhurayeva Born in Tajikistan, Olesya Dzhurayeva grew up in Ukraine and trained at the Mykhailo Boychuk State Institute of Decorative Arts and Design in Kyiv, from which she graduated in 2006. She exhibits her work in many countries, takes part in major international engraving biennials and has received several international awards. In her linocut practice, the work of the line is essential. The artist shapes forms, tones and variations of light, giving rise to images of great sensitivity. Urban landscapes, familiar scenes, details of nature—she combines technical precision and freedom of gesture to reveal the quiet poetry of the real. Jack Dufour Trained at the École supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, Jack Dufour develops a body of work that he presents in numerous exhibitions in France and abroad. He regularly takes part in the Salon d'Automne de Paris, of which he has chaired the Art Environnemental section since 2015. In 2025, he received a Taylor painting prize there. At the crossroads of photography and painting, Jack Dufour creates compositions in which the photographic image becomes the matter of a pictorial creation. The series Les Éléments naturels, presented at the Fondation Taylor, explores water, ice, fire, air, earth and the cosmos, in a reflection inspired by the thought of Aristote.
