An exhibition mounted based on the eponymous book by Céline Malraux. Madeleine Lioux was born into music. A path of excellence led her at fourteen from the conservatoire de Toulouse to the class of Marguerite Long at the conservatoire de Paris, but it would be shaped by the great moments of 20th century history. It is also the deeply moving journey of a woman attentive to her children wounded by war, which speaks volumes about the energy, courage and talent needed to fulfill a career as a professional musician when one is a woman, and not merely the wife of. An exhibition mounted based on the eponymous book by Céline Malraux and enriched with period documents. The book, reissued in autumn 2026, will be presented by Céline Malraux and Manon Landowski on Thursday, December 3 at the bibliothèque André Malraux. Event labeled Cinquantenaire André Malraux by the Ministère de la Culture and included in the Monte le son 2026 program of the bibliothèques de la Ville de Paris.
