Bonsaï Culture Expo is a family event for lovers of bonsai and the arts and culture of Japan. It takes place at the Parc Floral de Paris, in the 12th arrondissement. Bonsaï Culture Expo 2026 – 6ᵉ édition 14 and 15 November 2026 – Parc Floral de Paris For the very first time in France, and perhaps even in Europe, Bonsaï Culture Expo welcomes, into this exclusively male world, a Japanese woman expert in bonsai: Kaori Yamada, 5th generation of the Seikou-en nursery, in Omiya, at the historic heart of the bonsai village. Daughter of Tomio Yamada senseï, she carries on and develops Saïka Bonsai, a unique style created by her father. During the event, she will give an exceptional demonstration, creating a Saïka Bonsai composition, which will then be added to the bonsai collection of the Parc Floral de Paris – the very first permanent bonsai collection created in Europe, in 1989. On the programme: Exceptional bonsai within the EXPO pavilion, Demonstrations by Kaori YAMADA, translated into French. Bonsai professionals: French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch… High-quality artisan potters. Street-food stalls and Japanese craftspeople. You will also be able to vote online for your favourite bonsai for the public prize. Come and enrich your collection or adopt your first bonsai and discover how to care for it. Discover this thousand-year-old Japanese art over a weekend at the Parc Floral de Paris.
