BOUM 1986 avec Thomas Jolly
Musée d'Orsay

For its 40th anniversary, the musée d'Orsay hands over the keys of the celebration to Thomas Jolly. Beneath the nave, a night of dance, surprises and collective joy is taking shape. But as for the rest, we won't reveal anything to you — or almost nothing — of what awaits you. For the most beautiful surprises are the ones we discover together! Forty years after its opening, the former station turned into one of the most famous museums in the world invites you to a popular, daring and deeply collective adventure. For one evening, everyone is invited to take ownership of this iconic place and become one of the actors of the celebration. Beneath the nave of the museum, the architecture, the history and the spirit of the génération Orsay will come alive to the rhythm of music, dance and a few other surprises… Oops, we've already said too much! Join us on the dance floor for the Boum 86. A tribute to the year the museum was born and to the creative energy that has animated it for forty years. A joyful celebration where generations, imaginations and memories cross paths to blow out the museum's 40 candles together!
