Exhibition as part of Octobre rose 2026 This exhibition is presented by Martina Chuquet, as part of Octobre rose: its subject is breast cancer, a disease affecting one woman in seven today. These drawings were made from photographs taken by the artist herself, from which she selected those evoking the most striking stages of the illness, with their graphic quality also serving as a criterion for selection. Some depict places, notably the hospital for those receiving treatment there, others the marks left on the body by the various procedures. Other drawings show the objects that accompany moments of care in hospitals; they are part of the everyday life of the medical world.
