Illustration to understand nature Anna Maria Sibylla Merian (1647-1717), German artist and naturalist, is distinguished by her drawings of plants and insects. Through her highly detailed observations and reproductions, she carried out considerable scientific work, notably on the metamorphosis of butterflies. Colouring sheets based on her works will be made available on request, for older children and adults.
