Exposition : Dessin naturaliste et botanique
Bibliothèque Jacqueline Dreyfus-Weill

On the occasion of the Automne de la Science, discover an exhibition by the students of the naturalist drawing workshop at the Centre Paris Anim' Rébeval, led by illustrator Jessie Lousteau. Over the course of a year, the students of the naturalist drawing workshop at the Centre Paris Anim' Rébeval were able to learn, understand and depict the beauty and diversity of the living world with the guidance of Jessie Lousteau, workshop leader and illustrator. This exhibition highlights their research into textures, colours and light, and illustrates the complexity and rigour demanded by the practice of naturalist drawing. Observing and representing the living world also allows one to take a careful look at nature, revealing its beauty and celebrating it through drawing. Through experimenting with a variety of artistic techniques, Jessie Lousteau guides her students towards an exploration of the living world and its rich nature. → Jessie Lousteau will also lead two workshops on the Moomin universe and an introduction to Indian ink on Saturday 19 September — don't hesitate to sign up!
