We invite you to discover the original drawings from the animated film Le Corset by Louis Clichy, at 24 rue de Lappe, Wednesday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm. We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming exhibition devoted to the original drawings from the animated film Le Corset by the artist Louis Clichy, from October 1 to October 18, 2026, at our Parisian gallery. "On a farm in the heart of la Beauce, Christophe, 11 years old, matches his steps to those of his father. But at school, at home, on the tractor, Christophe leans… and falls. He is forced to wear a corset in order to walk straight. While the farm goes through difficult times, Christophe grows up as best he can. He discovers music and meets Clara, with whom everything seems to become possible." Le Corset is a personal story retracing the journey of Christophe, a young man from la Beauce forced to wear a corset from the fifth grade onward. Through his story, his encounters and his village, the film weaves an intimate narrative, carried by a remarkable work in ink and watercolor. The film will be released in theaters on October 14. He began his career as an animator at Pixar, working on Wall-E (2008) and Là-haut (2009). He then co-directed with Alexandre Astier Astérix : Le Domaine des Dieux (2014) and Astérix : Le Secret de la potion magique (2018). Le Corset is his first personal feature film as a director. After many years devoted to 3D animation, the film presents a very personal style, characterized by line and ink drawing that reconnects with Mange and À quoi ça sert l'amour, his first short films.
