The BiLiPo is exhibiting part of its collections centered on cinema print media: posters, ciné-romans, booklets… The Bibliothèque des Littératures Policières offers you an unprecedented exhibition of its cinema print materials in connection with the médiathèque François Truffaut, on the occasion of the international symposium "la culture imprimée du cinéma. Ciné-feuilletons, ciné-romans, ciné-romans-photos et autres hybridations transmédiatiques (XXe, XXIe siècles)". The hybridizations between writing and screen have given rise to a great variety of media productions. From the 1910s onward, a wide range of print materials developed, at the crossroads of the cultural object and the advertising medium: film posters, cinema programs, periodical supplements, specialized press… Transmedia characters, stories and universes transcend their original medium.
