The Galerie Christian Collin presents a Retrospective 2006-2026 of the Argentine painter-engraver Pablo Flaiszman. From October 23 to November 7, the galerie Christian Collin will devote a retrospective to the etcher PABLO FLAISZMAN as part of the Semaine des Galeries Parisiennes de l’estampe et du dessin. Born in 1970 in Buenos Aires, Pablo Flaiszman trained in painting and then in engraving, specializing in etching and aquatint. Settled in Paris since 2000, he abandoned color there to master black and its nuances. His singular creative process is based on the collage of old or family photographs, which he transforms into prints. His works, at once everyday and ghostly, thus tip over into a disquieting strangeness.
