Immerse yourself in the animal world of photographer Frédéric Combeau. An exhibition that reveals, with poetry and precision, the artist's attachment to the wild animals living at the heart of Paris. A self-taught enthusiast since childhood, Frédéric Combeau first honed his photographer's eye in the depths of the Parisian quarries, where he took his first shots thanks to an ingenious lighting system he had devised himself. Today a photographer at the Direction des espaces verts et de l'environnement, he roams parks, gardens and urban wastelands to capture the wildlife that slips into the interstices of the capital. His demanding and patient approach magnifies each animal by revealing it in its natural environment. Through a carefully selected collection of images, this exhibition offers visitors an unexpected face-to-face encounter with Parisian wildlife — a sensitive plunge into a Paris that is alive, discreet, yet intensely present.
