Exposition • Yann Le Houelleur • 15 ans à dessiner dans les rues de Paris malgré la PM
GALERIE ÉCHOMUSÉE

For fifteen years, Yann Le Houelleur has been drawing Paris directly from its streets. For two days, several dozen of his works will be exceptionally gathered at the Galerie Echomusée. For fifteen years, Yann Le Houelleur has been drawing in the streets of Paris. Seated facing the buildings, monuments and scenes around him, he observes at length and allows the city the time it needs to take shape on paper. His drawings do not seek to faithfully reproduce what he sees. Proportions shift, colors intensify, details and figures accumulate, composing over the years a very personal view of Paris. Before Paris, there was also São Paulo, where Yann lived for more than ten years. A few black-and-white drawings made during that period will be presented, as another facet of his journey. Brought together for this exhibition, several dozen works allow visitors to journey through fifteen years of drawing in the streets of Paris. Yann Le Houelleur will be present during the exhibition to meet visitors and share the stories behind his drawings.
