Formula Bula 2026. Between heritage, international contemporary scene and youth. Formula Bula 2026 affirms an editorial line faithful to its DNA: bringing heritage, international contemporary creation and emerging forms into dialogue, while defending an open and living vision of comics. Through a rich programme of exhibitions, encounters and experimentations, the festival also puts youth in the spotlight with an ambitious programme dedicated to young audiences and transmission. Highlights of this editionExhibition F'murrrFrom 17 September to 09 October 2026 - Mairie du 5ème. A journey through the absurd, poetic and profoundly humanist universe of the Génie des Alpages. The exhibition reveals the full richness of F'murrr's work, master of nonsense and critical observer of the world. Around the exhibition, Formula Bula offers a cycle of encounters and guided tours to explore the many facets of F'murrr's work. From his political and social commitment to the question of conservation and transmission of comics archives, these exchanges bring together historians, curators and authors to shed light on the legacy of a major figure of the ninth art. Gros oeuvre, an exhibition by Marion FayolleFrom 25 to 27 September 2026 - Césure-Paris 5° An exploration of the figure of the house as an intimate and symbolic space at the heart of Marion Fayolle's work. The artist will also chair the jury of the Prix du Fanzine enfants et ados 2026. International focus: Finnish comicsFrom 25 to 27 September 2026 - Césure-Paris 5° With artists Aapo Rapi, Tommi Musturi, Emmi Valve, Roope Eronen, Hanneriina Moissenen, Marko Turunen, Femicomix. Carried by Club 99, federation of comics and associated arts festivals, the Sarjakuva season celebrates contemporary Finnish comics through several French festivals. As part of this, Formula Bula welcomes six Finnish authors around exhibitions, encounters and performances dedicated to imaginaries from the North. Formula Bula's youth programme unfolds across six Parisian médiathèques, notably around a programme dedicated to Tove Jansson's Moomins. It is also accompanied by the 8th edition of the Concours international du fanzine d'enfants et d'ados (CNFE).
