59 Rivoli - Painting exhibition "Grandeur Nature" from September 1st to 13th, 1pm to 8pm. How do we look at our environment? What remains of natural spaces? What feelings does encountering the phenomena of nature give us? The exhibition Grandeur nature offers a striking visual response to these questions by highlighting the paintings and engravings of three artists who interpret natural landscapes in radically different ways, thus establishing a rich and powerful dialogue between their works. Jeanne de Guillebon conveys with great sensitivity the movement of landscapes in her paintings and engravings. Martin Lassailly, trained as an architect, subtly highlights in his paintings the opposition between the rectilinear order of human constructions and the colorful, lively turmoil of their immediate environment. Cédric Selmi reformulates natural landscapes into geometric flat areas in order to bring out the essence of perspectives, colors, and sensations. Three painters, three singular perspectives that invite the visitor to reconsider the place they give to their relationship with the environment and push them to step out of their daily routine to go and feel and experience this connection.
