More than 28 Artisans are taking over a former 900 m² printing works in the heart of the Marais, an exceptional venue where their creations and know-how are given pride of place. For the fifth consecutive year, the FAFCEA – the funding body for training courses for self-employed Artisanal business owners – is renewing the experience of the IMMERSION/S exhibition, dedicated to the Métiers d'Art. For three days, IMMERSION/S celebrates a rich cultural heritage carried by rare trades, with unique techniques and practices. Previous editions have been a true crossroads of exchange between artistic sensibilities and artisanal skills, giving rise to unprecedented collaborations and pieces specially created for the exhibition. The participating Artisans are part of a multidisciplinary dynamic while preserving what makes French Craftsmanship so strong: its singularity. The exhibition also offers an opportunity to discover the central role played by the FAFCEA in developing artisanal skills, by funding training adapted to changes in the sector and supporting the long-term sustainability of businesses. The transmission and mastery of knowledge remain essential levers for longevity. Artisans above all, the members of the Board of Directors wished to highlight the excellence of the Métiers d'Art by opening the doors of the FAFCEA to those who embody all its richness.
