On Saturday, October 17, the Campus de la Résilience opens its doors for the first time to the general public for a 100% free, fun, and immersive day, to be experienced with family or friends. Heatwaves, floods, fires, accidents: come test your reflexes, discover the right actions, and take on challenges! Will you know how to react in the face of a flood? What should you do if a fire breaks out? How can you protect yourself and your loved ones during extreme heat? What reflexes should you adopt in the face of everyday risks? Why are forest fires becoming more frequent and how can you prepare for them? How has Paris adapted to extreme heat over time? On the program: experiences, demonstrations, meetings, and workshops to discover the right responses to the risks around us, and above all, to test them for yourself! Come test your knowledge, take on challenges, try out tools, discover behind the scenes of the emergency services, and talk with those who work every day to better protect Paris. Firefighters, researchers, scientists, associations, and prevention actors will be there to share their knowledge and experience. The goal? To understand the risks, know how to react, and leave with concrete solutions for yourself and your loved ones. What is the Campus de la Résilience? Housed in a historic 400 m² site, the Campus de la Résilience is the new venue of the Ville de Paris, in partnership with the Brigade de sapeurs-pompiers de Paris and the Protection Civile, dedicated to risk awareness culture. Open to both children and adults, the Campus will offer free activities, training sessions, conferences, immersive experiences, and events all year round to better understand the risks that can affect Paris: heatwaves, floods, fires, domestic or technological risks. The Campus is also a place to meet and take action. Professionals, associations, families, residents, researchers, and local stakeholders will be able to share their knowledge, experiences, and initiatives to contribute to a city that is better prepared, more united, and able to cope with risks. A day to learn, experiment… and take action! Throughout the day, explore the exhibitions, take on challenges, handle equipment, experiment, and talk with emergency responders, scientists, and prevention specialists. 🔥 Step into the firefighters' "risk apartment" to spot everyday hazards and discover the right responses in case a fire breaks out. 🌊 Test your reflexes in the face of a flood, discover the impacts of flooding on Paris, and learn how to prepare your evacuation bag with specialists from the public institution Seines Grands Lacs. 🧪 Get hands-on with Les Petits Débrouillards to test for yourself the phenomena linked to climate change. ☀️ Step into the ClimateSense's 50°C truck and experience the effects of heat on your body and cognitive abilities. Reserved for adults. 🚒 Visit the emergency vehicles, meet firefighters and Protection Civile teams, and discover their professions, their equipment, and the behind-the-scenes of interventions. ❤️ Test your reflexes with first-aid introductory sessions and the Cardio Challenge Heroes challenge to learn the actions that can save a life. 💬 Share your experience of the 2026 heatwaves on the collective expression wall and contribute to the afternoon's public conference. 📚 Travel back in time and imagine the Paris of tomorrow with exhibitions dedicated to the history of heatwaves in Paris and to solutions for adapting the city to climate change, Vers Paris 2050. Book your activities by registering: it's free! Throughout the day, but only by registration, you can also take part in participatory workshops, role-playing scenarios, simulations, and meetings with experts! 🌊 Dive into a flooded Paris with the Fresque de la crue. 🔥 Discover what could happen in the event of a forest fire in Île-de-France and talk with experts. 🌍 Take part in the Fresques de l'adaptation to explore solutions together for coping with climate change. 🎭 Take part in the public conference and exchange views among residents, scientists, and experts about the risks affecting our territories. ❤️ Why not take advantage of this day to learn life-saving actions?
