The teams at ESA headquarters in Paris have prepared a rich and varied programme for the second edition of ESA's Open Doors Days, which will take place on 19 and 20 September as part of the Journées européennes du patrimoine. Located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris since 1976 and fully renovated in 2023, ESA headquarters will exceptionally open its doors to the general public. This visit will be an opportunity to discover an emblematic site of European space cooperation, where numerous projects and missions are prepared and coordinated. On the programme: talks led by specialists from the space sector, a meeting with an ESA astronaut, a simulation of the ESA Council to understand how Member States make the Agency's major decisions, an exhibition of models of satellites, probes and launchers presented by experts, as well as an HR stand to discover career opportunities within ESA. L'Astrolabe, the scientific culture space at ESA headquarters, as well as the ESA shop, will also be accessible during the two days of the event. Registration is mandatory to take part in the talks and the ESA Council simulations. Registration is open until Tuesday 15 September at noon (CEST). The registration form is available at this link. We look forward to welcoming you and introducing you to this hub of space activity, where you will be able to explore ESA's missions, projects and ambitions!
