For its new Contre-soirée, the musée national de la Marine invites you to discover the collections and the exhibition «L'appel des profondeurs» free of charge, and offers you brand-new activities. An evening event specially designed for young adults! Programme L'appel des profondeurs. Une aventure sous les mers de l'Antiquité à nos jours In Paris, the exhibition «L'Appel des profondeurs» - Une aventure sous les mers de l'Antiquité à nos jours» runs from 14 October 2026 to 4 April 2027. It is the highlight of the «L'appel des profondeurs» cycle. Through more than 200 works, it explores humankind's fascination with the abyss, between science, imagination and the conquest of the depths. Find out more about the exhibition Slam Performances The slam artist Elvi casts his gaze and words on works from the temporary exhibition, during an immersive and poetic pause. Location: Temporary exhibition Times: 7:45 pm, 8:30 pm, 9:30 pm (duration: approximately 15 min) Meet a Work of Art Throughout the exhibition, guides and mediators will enlighten you about a selection of works. Come meet them and let the works reveal all their secrets to you. Location: Temporary exhibition Times: 7 pm to 10:30 pm DJ Set Come dance with the French DJ OrKatz, an oceanic "artivist" deeply connected to the underwater world. Her minimal and hypnotic sounds combine with the sounds of marine animals to offer a musical journey and a reconnection with the ocean. Location: Museum hall Times: 8 pm to 9:30 pm Introduction to Linocut Printing The fauna, flora and fantastical creatures of the seabed feed our imagination. Discover linocut printing with the artist Mélanie Alpach and her patterns inspired by the underwater world!
