La Source de la Loire et autres films. Rose Lowder

Immersed within the filmmaker's most recent films, the exhibition offers a glimpse into her perception of nature, her methodology, and her economy of work, which the artist has pursued with persistence since the 1970s. Little shown until now within the framework of exhibitions, Rose Lowder's cinema has, for fifty years, constituted a research into visual perception, through an observation of nature captured by the 16 millimeter camera, interweaving images in rapid flux in sites where biodiversity is preserved. La Source de la Loire (2019-2021), filmed on Mont Gerbier de Jonc, forms the heart of this presentation, and is accompanied by two "Bouquets": twenty films of one minute each, shot on organic farms and properties, mostly in the Sud de la France where the artist also resides.
