Marc RIBOUD - "Geometry becomes poetry, life, emotion" - Photographs From 4 to 16 November 2026. Opening on Thursday 5 November. With the Bicentenaire de la photographie and Photo Days It has been 10 years since Marc Riboud left us, and this year we celebrate the Bicentenaire de la Photographie. It is therefore quite naturally that we have chosen to approach a new angle of the work of this artist whom the galerie Arcturus has represented for more than 20 years. "Photos must be composed like paintings. Go to the Louvre and look, it's the best school." Marc Riboud liked to recount this advice, or rather this "order", given to him by Henri Cartier-Bresson when he was a young beginner. This careful composition, which came naturally to him, always remained in service of what was essential to him: his curiosity for the human being. With him, geometry becomes poetry, life, emotion.
