Memento Floris — Exposition de François Farcy

A sensory exhibition where painting, music and perfume explore memory and the passage of time through flowers. Through Memento Floris, visual artist François Farcy explores memory, the passage of time and the traces left by the people who have marked our lives. Born in particular from memories of his grandmother and the flowers that accompanied his childhood, the exhibition transforms this intimate memory into a universal experience. Flowers become witnesses of time: they appear, blossom, then fade away, mirroring our own memories. Painting lies at the heart of Memento Floris, but the experience extends beyond sight. An original musical creation, composed specially for the project and released on vinyl in a limited edition of 100 copies, accompanies the exhibition, while an olfactory dimension awakens the link between perfume and memory. François Farcy thus envisions an exhibition to be seen, but also to be heard and felt, inviting everyone to slow down and rediscover, through flowers, an emotion, a place or the memory of a person.
