"The Sliding Wall series is concerned with what time and memory do to images. Here, the wall is not merely an architectural element: it becomes a surface upon which the marks of a presence, an erasure and successive reworkings settle. Through the accumulation of layers, overpaintings, the wear of the surface and the gradual reappearance of forms, the works hold in tension what remains visible, what is covered over and what is erased. Textures, masked zones and plant motifs that appear only in fragments compose a silent space, where memory no longer persists as an intact image, but as an accumulation of traces." — Mina Naderi Born in Téhéran in 1966, Mina Naderi has been developing for more than three decades a body of work in which color, memory and perception progressively transform the image. Landscapes, flowers and plant forms appear here less as subjects to be described than as shifting presences, sometimes sharp, sometimes fragmentary, oscillating between recognition and disappearance. Her work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Iran and internationally, notably at Homa Gallery, Golestan Gallery and Seyhoun Gallery in Téhéran, as well as at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris. A member of the Association des peintres iraniens, she has organized and curated thematic exhibitions and annual sales, while also publishing texts devoted to the visual arts. She lives and works in Téhéran. Galerie Keshavarzian is a contemporary art gallery located in the Matignon neighborhood of Paris. It presents international artists through a program of exhibitions and long-term collaborations, driven by a spirit of discovery that regularly leads it to present artists for the first time in Paris or in France. Founded in Paris in 2024 by Tannaz Keshavarzian, a polytechnicienne and artist, the gallery has its origins in an independent space created in Téhéran in 2014, and today extends to Paris an approach founded on exchange and dialogue within the art world.
