First exhibition in Paris by Nathanaël Philbert, originally from Guadeloupe. Originally from Guadeloupe, Nathanaël Philbert first exhibited at the age of 18, then devoted nearly ten years to entrepreneurship. In May 2024, a fire destroyed the agency he had built. He started over, in New York and then in Bali, where he set up his studio. REBIRTH is born of this new beginning. His painting follows this movement: painting, covering over, breaking, starting again on the same surface. On the walls, canvases up to 2.30 m: a domino table, a fish market, a woman in madras, faces caught in the jungle or in the flames. Eyes, spirals, crossings, bold brushstrokes, and gold, used sparingly. Opening reception on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 6 p.m.
