Soirée costumée et bal swing, en écho à l'exposition « L’étoffe de l’artiste »

Art is worn, art is danced! On the occasion of this exceptional late-night opening, the public is invited to come dressed in the manner of an artist, in order to discover the temporary exhibition L'étoffe de l'artiste. De Rosa Bonheur à Sonia Delaunay, in a festive atmosphere. Painter's smock, lavallière tie, studio attire: everyone is free to interpret as they wish the elegance and fantasy of artists. A photobooth allows visitors to immortalize their outfit and leave with a souvenir of this unique evening. Flash tours of the exhibition are offered at 6pm, 6:45pm and 7:15pm (sign up on site), to discover how artists made clothing a true means of expression. From 8pm to 10:15pm, it's time to dance! After an introduction to 1930s swing dances offered by the teachers from the school Shake that Swing, participants will be able to take to the floor to the rhythm of lindy hop, charleston or jazz. Throughout the evening, the café-restaurant Le Rhodia offers you a light dining option or a menu specially designed for the evening. Come in costume and bring back to life, for one evening, the most daring silhouettes in the history of art! Evening program: 6pm-9pm: access to the exhibition, with three flash tours (30 minutes) by sign-up on site at 6pm, 6:45pm, 7:15pm (last entry at 8:15pm) 8pm: opening of the swing dance 8:30pm-9:15pm: introduction to swing dances 9:15pm-10:15pm: continuation of the swing dance Throughout the evening: dining options at the café-restaurant 10:30pm: museum closing
