Stage vacances ados 12-15 ans — Constellations avec Élise Toïdé
Maison Européenne de la Photographie

The workshop with photographer Élise Toïdé invites adolescents aged 12 to 15 to create constellations of images from their photographs. Through a photographic wandering through the city, its streets, its gardens, this workshop will offer adolescents a personal and poetic collection of images. From one image to another, in moments of shooting guided by the photographer, they will capture landscapes, objects, plants and animals, close or distant portraits. Beyond learning photographic possibilities, the adolescents will be invited to pay attention to these suspended moments where fragility meets lightness and brings beauty into everyday life. Between self-revelation and openness to the world around us, this workshop proposes to render in images the sensitivity of each participant. The photographs produced, individual and collective, will then be assembled in the form of constellations, inviting contemplation and sharing through a new form of visual narrative. On this occasion, Élise Toïdé will present some of her projects, including les vagues and Gabrielle, and will share with the group her artistic research around imagination, memory and the possibilities of poetic narratives offered by photography. ____________________ Élise Toïdé Élise Toïdé develops a photographic practice in analog, 35 mm, where portraits, landscapes, interiors and fragments of everyday life compose open narratives. Her work explores time, memory, intimacy and vulnerability, with particular attention paid to youth, states of transition and the living. Nourished by literature, cinema and art history, she is interested in the traces left by beings, places and their environment, and in the way photography can bring forth narratives and imaginaries.
