Grand costume ball for the 150th anniversary of the hôtel André. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the inauguration of the hôtel particulier André, the Musée Jacquemart-André offers an immersive evening in the form of a grand costume ball. Throughout the evening, participants are invited on a journey through time to discover the great moments in the life of the couple Édouard André and Nélie Jacquemart, around a lively cocktail dinner. Elegance, surprises and refinement mark the rhythm of this immersion at the heart of the Belle Époque. For this night out of time, you are invited to wear a costume in order to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a prestigious 19th-century evening, recreated through a period reconstruction. A central figure of the evening, Nélie Jacquemart, who painted the portrait of Édouard André in 1872 before marrying him in 1881, is among the guests. Throughout the visit, you are invited to find her among them, while entertainments punctuate the evening and reveal the secrets of the hôtel particulier. Times: From 8pm to 2am – entertainments from 8pm to 11pm, dance floor open from 11pm. Dress code: come dressed in a Belle Époque costume (1876 – 1912) and put it on before arriving at the museum. There is no space to change inside the museum.
