Visit of the magnificent Parc de Sceaux, lunch, then a tour of the château with a guide lecturer. You may also join us just for the afternoon tour of the château. The visit will begin with a peaceful stroll through the magnificent Parc de Sceaux, created at the behest of Colbert, with André Le Nôtre as the master builder. After lunch (prior choice required) at « l'Esprit du Parc », we will join our guide lecturer at the château gate at 2:15 pm. The tour will take you in the footsteps of the various owners and reveal, through their destinies, the history of the Île-de-France and of a place that has had many owners, from Colbert to the Conseil départemental des Hauts-de-Seine. The collections are showcased in « period rooms » following a chronological path rich in the great and small history of its inhabitants.
